Default Shelby Front and Rear bumper Question

If I get a Shelby front end and Rear bumper, do I need to change the stock side skirts? Would it look right with the stock sides or should I change them?

are we talking about a V6 or GT? with the gt it should look fine, with the v6 it might look a little odd. but in my opinion gt500 side skirts look just like the V6 sideskirts...

the gt500 side skirts are the same as the v6 side skirts if I'm not mistaken. If you have a v6, then paint the rear bumper black all the way around the bottom like the GT500. If you have a GT, imo, paint the bumper like a GT/CS. I think that will look good.

BTW, I see you've got a cervini 67' ram air hood waiting to be installed, and I can tell you that you're gonna love it. It really turned my car from a plain ole mustang to a really nice looking sports car. Easily my favorite part of my car.

I have both on my 06 GT, what look are you trying for? GT500 or do you just want to have those bumpers? If your going for the GT500 look then you will need to paint your side skirts black to match like they do on a GT500. If your just doing it to have the better looking bumpers then your stock side skirts are just fine but you will want to paint your rear shelby bumper like they are on the CS/Shelby.

I'm not going for a GT500 look at all. I'm just doing it to have different bumpers. I'm going to install my hood this weekend hopefully to make sure it fits properly and then I'm getting it painted.

why all the "if it's a V6" posts after he said it's an '06 GT?

and which shelby bumpers are we talking about? the GT500 or the GT bumpers like the CS has?
