Default Anyone gone from the factory scoop to the Roush scoop?

I had the factory hood scoop installed on my car a couple years ago. Lately though I'm really digging the look of the Roush hood scoop as well. Has anyone who had the factory scoop switched it for the Roush scoop? I know both of them are drilled into the hood, so I suppose it would boil down to the placements of the holes in the hood and the types of bolts used. I also know that the Roush scoop sits further back than the factory scoop. So this would seemingly not be an easy switch without having to fill in some holes and/or make new ones.

Anyone done this swap before or have any information on it?

I can tell you the directions that came with my Roush scoop said it would not fit the factory scoop holes.

Wink Template...

Hello Victoria,
I have a template for the Roush scoop, that you can look at if you wish........I am in Orange County.......yes, you would have to drill holes for the new scoop, the Roush scoop is larger and should cover any other holes from the OE scoop.....my $.02

Hi, 4Liter6.

That'd be good I suppose if the Roush scoop covered the holes left by the factory scoop. Not that I'd want even more holes in my hood, but if it covers the holes I guess it doesn't really matter since no one would see them.
