Default Mustang noob

Okay looking aty 06 gt MT for daily driver, mostly city driving. Last car was 04 gto m6 and it was fast and consistently got 16 city and 25 highway mileage. My only two questions are is the 450Whp really the safe limit, and what mileage does a stock one get? Hell just tell me your mileage numbers mods or not since it won't be stock for long.

The search feature is really a wonderful tool...

I typically get 22-26 MPG highway depending on if I'm being a good boy or not. Even when I'm running for a few hours in the 80's and 90's she still hangs around 21-22. I don't drive city so I couldn't say. See my sigs for what few mods I have.

450 is probably the safe limit, but jdm hasnt has a single engine blow up yet with plenty of guys running at 500rwhp..

450rwhp is the "safe limit" but it's quickly becoming 500rwhp since so many guys recently have been pushing it just a little further. there's a decent amount of guys out there running 500rwhp on stock internals with no problems after quite a few thousand miles.

My driving is a pretty even mix of city and highway. Bone stock, I get 19 mpg no matter how I drive it (within reason - can't very well drive at 6000 rpm everywhere). Strange. The car is still new - only 1700 miles. Not sure what that matters.
