Saw a Yellow GTO at the Local Parts shop....
 

Still, I do not see any excitment in the automobile. It was Yellow with two black stripes. It just does not do anything for me.

I was looking it over while I was having the '86 Capri 5.0 State inspected.(Passed with flying colors, yet with faded paint:D)

I just do not like the the shape, kinda like a "June Bug" shaped. Not very distinctive....

My two cents.....or maybe a quarters worth.....

Love the shape of the 2005 Mustang......

You guys with the " Screaming Yellow" have it beat by far!

ya, its not a car when you look through the parking lot you can spot it really fast. Its also not a car people say, wow a GTO. Most people dont know what a GTO is (newer gen.) But alot of people know what the 2005 mustang is. I had a little girl come up to me and say, "I love your car." That made my day.

There is a yellow GTO running around my neck of the woods. Tried to get him to play at a signal light the other day, he wouldn't.


I have had many compiments on the GT, but the best ones are always from kids. Had a boy about 10 or 12 the other day in the grocery store parking lot that looked at me getting out of the car and said "wow, that car is bad ass! "...then his mom popped him in the back of the head for saying ass. I couldn't help but giggle.

When I got my GT last week I took it to my old man’s house so he can take a look at it. As I was approaching the house some kid, around 9 yrs old, was yelling IT’S THE NEW MUSTANG, IT’S THE NEW MUSTANG!

I don’t think any GTO guys can say the same thing!

Even people who know nothing about cars easily recognize the Mustang. That GTO is well made, has lots of power, ect, ect. but it's just about the most bland thing I have ever seen. It's only redeming value is that of a sleeper.

I have saw two different yellow ones around this zip, but to me all they look like is a Stratus with shiny wheels.

On the subject if Kids and compliments, my Nephew (8rs Old) went to school on the day after I picked up my 05 GT Convertible and was braggin about how (and I quote him) "SICK" His uncles new Mustang was and how the sound system bumped etc...

All the kids made fun of him and said he was full of $h!t etc, so the next morning I made sure my wife picked him up for school and droped him off with the top down and the wee yin blasting Usher (I think thats who it was) on the Shaker 1000. [sm=bling.gif]

The wee yin was talk of the school for a week. He had kids calling him for a ride to practice etc....:D

All I could tell him was "Jist dont plan on taking it to prom in 10 years!" [sm=forgetit.gif]
