OK, I've done several searches & can't find any mention of WHEN to use the fog lights..

Several months ago I installed a GT front bumper & grille (with fogs of course) on my 05 V6 but have YET to buy & install the wiring harness. The main reason I've not done this is because I don't know WHEN (under what conditions?) I'd use them. So anybody wanna enlighten me (pun definitely intended).. and PLEASE don't say when it's foggy!

BTW - anyone got a fog light wiring harness "cheap"?

I'd ALSO like to find a OEM S197 V6 shifter (I threw mine away when I installed a Hurst). I want to experiment with the stock one to help others understand WHY the Hurst rattles ad how to FIX it... I should NOT have tossed the stock unit!

I use mine..

when its dark out

they are not *really* fog lights, they are more like auxilary lights

In the 16 months I've owned my 07 GT, I think I've turned them on once, when it was foggy. They were pretty much useless for that purpose, and driving around with fog lights on as a general practice isn't for me.

I use mine everytime it's dark out also. It looks cool for one thing.

Same here. I use them for visibility during rain and before its dark enough for the headlights/when the headlights are on. So yeah, I use them quite often.

i used mine in my 07 gt all the time. hardly ever turned on my headlights. now that i have the 08 gt with the hid's i hardly turn them on at all. plus when you run all four i get flashed to cut off my high beams bc people are not used to seeing 4 huge lights up front. then i flash them the high beams and hopefully they get the point.

I always turn mine on whenever it gets dark outside. I just like the way it looks compared to just having the two head lamps on

actually....people probably flash you to turn off your fog lights, since that bugs some people...and by flashing your brights you probably just look like a dick, because bright will shut off your fogs....so they flash you for fogs and you basically turn your fogs off then back on...kind of a slap in their face lol

I use them all the time, I think they are more of a driving light than a fog light. They help light up just a litle more without being overly bright like the high beams are
