Default Weather stripping

I have an 07 GT and I have noticed the weather stripping is sort of pushing its way out of the gap between the a pillar and the window trim on the exterior of the car (ill post pics as soon as possible). I searched the forum but could not find a thread that addressed this issue; does anyone know what i am referring to?

Thanks

I think it's doing it on mine as well. I took it to the dealer and their body shop was supposed to fix it but did not. I took delivery of the car before realizing it at the time. Won't take it back there again.

I'm curious to see your pictures though and if it looks like my issue then I'll post one as well.

OK here are a couple. One with flash one without. These are high resolution. You've been warned.

This is the type of stuff that is going to fray over time if left exposed.

I have the same thing happening on the passengers
side down by the mirror. The 'foam' has an adhesive
side thats suppost to be applied to the vehicle before
the plastic trim is installed. It is a water sealing item
and I just tuck it back in with a creditcard about every
six months.

Oh man, this makes me feel better. I thought it was only me because I know my car was in a little accident before I bought it and just figured it was because of that. I will try the credit card thing. Thanks for the post!!!!

I have the same problem on the drivers side only.
I'll try the credit card thing.

I had the same exact thing in the same spot! I took it to the dealer. The service mgr said, we fixed it no problem! All they did was get a razor, and cut the excess sticking out! I coulda did that, I thought they would actually fix it for real.

And now I think they messed with my weatherstripping that the windows sits into when it is shut, because when I roll down my window, the damn thing falls out and flaps around, I gotta stuff it back in its spot!!! Never happened before then.
