I liked it a lot better at night, looks kind of cheap looking in the day photo.

yea. well they are fiberglass and it does look different when you put them next to the plastic trunk panel. thats why Im not quite done with that project. and also the covers are a little thicker than I wanted them to be. but I like the look of smooth fiberglass painted or not rather than the rough plastic.

I have a suggestion...what do you think about continuing the ribbing from the saleen panel from the middle to the newly made piece. From the pictures the three middle ribs almost line up. I think that way it would look more like a addition to saleen middle panel JMO.

i think i know youre going for the SMS look?
but i dont like these at all
it looks very very cheap, because the black fiberglass (??) does not complement the indents in the tail lights
however, i know this is still a work in progress, so gl on your refinement
