Buy now or wait till November?

what do you mean hope that it isn't too different? with the power ratings of the new camaro, it better be different or else it's going to get blown out of the water. we have the looks department easy, but other than that, it needs an upgrade.

I couldnt agree more. looks the mustangs win all day. but you have to look at it the same way when they moved the hp up to 300 from 260. ford would have a lot of customers pissed that own 2008-2009 models then the next model yr they put another 100hp in them. would be bad for business. i can see them bumping it up to 340 or there about. but not 400 at all. but like i said if they do. my mom at ford credit will be getting another call saying a will need another a-plan number by mid 2010 when the 2011 come out.

I would wait till the end of the month and see what they will offer, if it isn't much wait till the end of November and try again. The later in the month and the later in the year you wait the better the incentives and prices. I bought my old mustang on the last day of December back in 2005 and I was able to talk them down 4k on a used car! It was the best haggling I had ever done.

I could care less about the power rating. I can almost assure you its going to be same 4.6L in our S197, so if they increase the HP to 330 or 340, its nothing you cant do yourself with a few simple mods.
What I am worried about is that new stang will look alot better then our S197. For instance if you bought a 2004 mustang and then 2 months later you saw the s197s i would be furious.

The only thing that disappoints me about the S197 is the body area above the rear tire/below the little side windows is not bumped up like the old mustangs were (and other muscle cars). But with the S197 it's just flat. It's ok, but would better with the bump up there.
The 2010 looks to have that little bump slightly.
I hope you all know wtf I'm talking about.

+1 on the 2010 coming out in april of 09. im kicking myself for picking up a 2008 3 weeks ago. but i wont buy the 1st yr of a new model/design. so i told myself i would keep this one until at least 2010 then if the new design comes with a higher hp number motor i will trade again. for the 4th time in 40 months, if i do. lol
It will be built on the same chassis as the 07-09, with slightly different body panels.
If you have information showing otherwise, please post up a link, as I'm sure all would be interested.
