Had the car weighed today
3500lbs with just over 1/2 a tank. Scale is accurate to within 20lbs. I was not in the car.
Car is being transported up to WV for the summer, so I had to weigh it before putting it on the truck.

RE: Had the car weighed today
I'm thinking about my F150....5800 pounds and 300 HP 5.4L V8. When that V8 gets above 3000 rpm, boy, that truck scoots! I can just imagine what 300 hp does with that 3500 lb mustang....Can't wait to get my '06 order in!!! Thanks for the info.

The specs say 3450lbs, so that's about right with your tank 1/2 full (or is it 1/2 empty??).
Also, let 10 lbs of air out of each tire, and you can knock 40 lbs off the total weight!
