No, it's too difficult to get in touch with Bama and I've decided to bring it to a REAL tuner. Mail-order tunes can never be spot-on and I needed to have it in someone's hands that I trust. I've completely lost trust with the mechanic's that installed my cams and won't be going back to them.

i told them that they would need a 3V spring compressor to install the cams. What do they do??? try to use a 2V which will not work. I told them they would need a jam tool for the cam chains. what do they do??? "make" a tool that will work. total idiots. they splattered about a quart of motor oil on the top of my intake that I had to clean off. idiots... my car will NEVER go back to that place.

If I have to drive 2 hours from Austin to find a good mech/tuner I'll do it from now on. And will be doing just that at 3pm today.

Don't worry man, I'll let you know. I don't drink the kool aid and will let you know whether these cams are usable for daily driving etc. A lot of information will be ascertained this week...

There's a PSI "Performance" in San Antonio. Probably not related to PSI Motorsports in Houston.

I really need to find out who's the best in TX and bring my car there for work.

psi performance in sa is very good, just a fair warning the guy is extremely cocky lol. It isnt the same as psi motorsports in houston though. Strictly performance in houston is another very good tuner.

Any cam swap should be dyno tuned. I was one of the first to get Thumprs and it took JPC a while to tune it. I'm taking it back later this month so they can tweak it some more. It is running rich and I have a code P3100 (intermittent misfire). It runs like a bat out of H*ll and I love the sound. I haven't had the idle problem as discussed above. I do let the car run a few minutes before I drive.
