Default V1 or passport 9500i??? that is the question

Hey guys, ive decided to invest in a radar detector...my dad has the V1 in his car and it works wonders, but on the other hand i also hear such great things about the 9500i.

So, let me know what you guys think...

It all depends on how much you drive past convenient stores and stuff during your daily commute. If you are like me and drive past 10 drug stores and 3 grocery stores every day to and from work/class whatever then the 9500i is awesome because you can just block out all those false alarms. If you live out in the country and never go past any stores with automatic doors, then get the V1 for the arrows. its just too bad the V1 doesnt have gps and internal memory like the 9500 or else it would always be the best.

The GPS feature is cool and with the ability to cancel out falses based on the coordinates, it's great if you do a lot of driving where falses can drive you nutz.

The V1 has exceptional sensitivity. But if you need stealth, the Bel STI-Driver is the way to go. Check out http://www.guysoflidar.com/

I've been seeing a lot of laser in Illinois and Ohio lately. Just be aware that an RD, IF it alerts, only lets you know that the LEO most likely already has your speed. If laser is an issue, invest in a good active radar jammer and some VEIL.
