Default Swishing sound in the rear?

Ok so I'm driving in my car, and I hear what seems to sound like water swishing around in the rear. So I parked, open the trunk, and checked the sides where water usually gets trapped when it rains. No water. I then check the inside of the trunk, no water. Finally, I check my interior to be on the safe side, everything is nice and dry, no water. So I get back in my car and pull away, and I hear the swishing sound again. I'm dumbfounded. Anywhere else where water can settle?

gas tank? That happens all the time in my 65 mustang but I would think these newer cars would be a little more sound proof. Only fix that i know of would be some sound deadener or just turn your music up

Swishing in your rear? TMI. Your lifestyle choice is of no concern to me.

Seriously, I can't imagine that you can hear the gas sloshing around. Did you check for water in the spare tire well? Any chance you have something laying around that's sliding, maybe under the seat? Weird...

Ahh ok. I wish it just wasn't so pronounced. Then again Ford does use cheap parts lol.

i hear the fuel sloshing a bit right after I turn the car off. When running, between the Stingers, the music, and the ragtop road noise.....I can't hear it.....
