Default something wierd happened and I have a question

This morning backing out of the garage I poped the clutch and killed the engine. At first the dash had a very eleictrical noise like everything was frying, then every thing went dead. The car would not even turn over. I let it set for a minute, then started to pull the battery cable in hopes of reseting everything. All of a sudden the alarm stared going off. Once I reset the alarm everything was ok. She started rigth up and ran fine. The only thing I had to redo was the clock.
Has anybody else had this happen or was it just an anomaly.

Just a wild guess but from your description I think you may have had a loose or dirty battery terminal connection unless you have some other intermittent connection somewhere. Something like that can be very hard to find. I hope it doesn't reappear.

Yea me too. It was kinda freaky setting in the drive way powerless.

battery cables are clean and they did not appear to be loose, but that was my first thought.

If your cable were good like you said then you have a bare wire somewhere. Since you could hear it inside your car I would start looking for lose wires or a wire that is making contact with metal or very very near a metal edge that could of cut into it. Stuff like what happened to you doe not just happen as a fluke. Something is electrical is making contact with something its not suppose too.
