Anybody running a Optima Red Battery??

The Yellow Top is a deep cycle and cranking battery. The Red Top is primarily a starting (cranking) battery. If you tend to run high powered equipment with the engine off (utilizing the deep cycle functionality) then I'd go with the Yellow Top. If not, the Red Top will be just fine.

lol, why post all that jazz with no time frames?
Let me help you out, info from optima's websites.
OPTIMA YELLOWTOP WARRANTY INFORMATION
D34/78, D75/25, D34, D35, D51, D51R Automotive, LTV, Commercial, Car Audio 12 Months Free Replacement, Remaining 12 Months Prorated
OPTIMA REDTOP WARRANTY INFORMATION
12V Passenger Vehicle / Light Truck (noncommercial) 36 Months Free Replacement, Remaining 36 Month Prorated
Pretty simple to make out. Redtop warranty is alot better. This information exactly matches what Autozone's website states.
Now that this is settled, I would never recommend buying a yellowtop as the starter battery. Your up ****'s creek after a year. $200 for 1 year warranty is pathetic.

Size 34/78 is $140 at Sam's Club and fits without much effort.
