Default Sealing O/R H Pipe

I just got my o/r H pipe in the mail. Its the 2 piece model from JEG's and I was wondering what you other guys with H pipes used to seal the middle H part. I don't want to weld it, so I was curious if there was anything else on the market that I could use. It has a clamp, but somehow anytime I clamp pipes, I still always have a small leak somewhere. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

since you dont want to weld it, all you got left is to clamp it. just use a good clamp.

if you need to clamp it, just make sure to get a wide band clamp and not the cheap clamp it comes with

Okay, I'll have to run to the Auto Parts store tomorrow and see if they have a wide band clamp. Thanks for the help. I thought there might be some kind of high temp silicone or a wrap i could put on it. But I guess theres no such thing yet.

Go to NAPA. They sell 4" wide SS clamps that work great. It's what I used on my H pipe - I had leaks too.

I ended up just getting it welded in the middle there. Sealed everything up perfectly. I tried the band clamp, and it still leaked a little bit. Couldn't get it completely sealed without welding. It only cost me $15 to get it welded at a local shop.
