Default Got the new TCI torque converter installed

This morning ..well started this morning... Finished about 3 pm....Everything went good!..No problems.....Took her out for a test ride..felt good from the hole, but hard to tell with all the wheel spin..LOL What I did notice was that when you let off the gas and coast at lower speeds then get back on the throttle. It about snaps you frigin neck when it locks up and takes off.......Can't wait to get it in some glue and watch my 60fts drop like a rock........Sun...Last race of the season ....Domestic/Import Shootout........ MIR... Hoping to eat a lot of rice this weekend......Hahahahaha

I crown you the king of periods.

So it feels a lot different than stock? What's your stall?

I installed the 3000 tci in my 05 GT.My actual stall is only 2700. Your tires should not brake loose till 3000 rpms.TCI said stalls can vary.Test yours to see when the tires start to spin. That is the idea of a stall converter.Raising your RPM's for launch. If your converter is engaging while your driving you have issues.I would recommend a 3500 stall if I did it again, the car can handle it easily.

i was thinking a 3500 stall too but don't know how they work on the street. my car right now only gets up to about 2000 before it starts to move off the line. i'd love to see what a 3000rpm launch will do to my 1/4 mile times.
