I'm kinda at a point where I'm weighing several different options about my car's look. I have a question about the GT500 spoiler sold from The Spoiler Store on eBay...

I know it has two bolts rather than four the way that the factory GT500 spoiler does. My factory spoiler also has four bolts, plus it is stuck on by 3M tape as well, which I imagine also keeps the spoiler from rubbing down on the decklid. So... does the GT500 spoiler from The Spoiler Store use any similar 3M tape to protect the decklid and paint, or does it simply sit there on the car without any other protection?

I got the one I put on my GT/CS off ebay for like $100 and it fit perfect. I believe the 3m tape came with it but if not, you can buy some anywhere.

Comes with 3M tape and the bolts. I like mine and never had any problems with it at all! Very good price and awesome upgrade.

Okay thanks guys. Where does the 3M tape get applied? Because of my stripes I'm hoping it doesn't get taped over them.

The tape on mine goes across the whole trunk

The tape on the spoiler runs the full length of the trunk lid, closing in the entire bottom portion of the spoiler.

i've been considering going this route too, and from all the posts, am i save to assume 'the spoiler store' is reliable?
