Don - did you get 5% all around or a lighter tint on the front side windows?

5% on back three windows, 22% on the doors (still pretty dark, though)

is there a law for tint opacity? i alway heard you could get a ticket for the sides being too dark.

In SoCal, no tint is allowed on the doors (front). If it's light, you can sometimes get away with it. But, I'm pushing the edge with 22%.

I have used Llumar on my last two mustangs, and am getting my '05 tinted tomorrow with it. I like it because it has a nation wide, lifetime (as long as you own the car) warranty against peeling, fading, bubbling. If it does any of that they will replace it for free. I am sure other brands do the same as well, this is just the only one I know of.

Be sure who ever installs your tint installs the little sliver of felt to the inner rubber trim piece at the top of the door! I've read several posts in here of folks tinting getting scratched up because the stock rubber trim no longer has the felt - just a rough piece of rubber [:@]
