If you are asking, I would not attempt it.
Unless you have a couple of free days to spend on the installation.
Here is the online wiring diagrams. All the info you need is HERE.
Be aware that the S197 is a lot different with the SJB being used and full
knowledge of vehicle electrical wiring will be needed.
Its not an average DIY project.
Solder and heatshrink EVERY connection.
Proper siren placement is critical to an un-bypassable working system.
Interior pain generators are a must.
The FORD PATS system is the best defense againt unwanted starting so a starter bypass circuit is an unneeded option. Heck, most are stolen, sirens blaring being taken away by a tow truck driving theif.
Not really sure what alarms are good for except the 'coolness' factor.
