Be aware that the S197 is a lot different with the SJB being used and full
knowledge of vehicle electrical wiring will be needed.
Its not an average DIY project.
Solder and heatshrink EVERY connection.
Proper siren placement is critical to an un-bypassable working system.
Interior pain generators are a must.
The FORD PATS system is the best defense againt unwanted starting so a starter bypass circuit is an unneeded option. Heck, most are stolen, sirens blaring being taken away by a tow truck driving theif.
Not really sure what alarms are good for except the 'coolness' factor.
Yeah unless you have like a super super good 2way remote than your car will be taken by a tow truck. Believe me... Mine has been towed, he just took it with the alarm blairing and trust me. The driver said everyone was coming out of their apartments looking and guess what i was one building over and never heard ****..So if they want it, they'll take it. Somewhat better piece of mind i guess.
