saw the reveal last Tuesday on speed channel, and that clenched it for me- got a 09 gt at employee pricing, just like my 06...now (3) vista blue S197's here- my 06 gtstick, the wifes 07 pony v6auto, and the 09 gtstick- got it to store away...hate garage queens, but as much as we love our current cars, they wont last forever- but in 10-20 years, the 3 mile 09 will be one of the last of the good looking ones...theres lots of shelbys stored away out there, but doubt theres many plainjane gts stashed.

I do hope ford does well on the '10, but my personal opinion is that rearend and the current economy are going to be a tough sell...the current model was due for a refresh, I just think most of us had expected something different than what came out last week...

I really think today with the dealer pricing on the 09's, there may never be a prettier v8 mustang in this price range again- I just hope Ford survives and the mustang is around in another 45 years- but likely might be 4 and 6 cylinders only though in a few more years...

Alright well I went to the auto show today and it was cool. The Mustang looks better in person than it does in pictures. The sequentials are a bit slower than the average sequentials I've seen on the S197. They don't sequence when you brake or put on your hazards, just when you're going to turn. Also, the GT comes stock with a new X pipe and FRPP Stingers! The V6 has the same exhaust setup and same old muffler. It also looks like they're going to come out with a huge line of dress-up stuff for the new Mustang... louvers, a variety of spoilers, lots of rims options, blackout panels, and different decals including carbon fiber racing and hood stripes. Also the new colors are nice... the new dark blue is really dark and looks almost black. The new sterling grey is almost as dark as Alloy was. And candy red is gorgeous. The new leather seats are also much more cushiony. Over all though the car is a bit smaller... not as wide and a bit shorter nose to tail.

I'll post pics in the next couple of days... for now I've got to get to bed. I gotta be at Best Buy at 2 in the morning for work.

I'll be keeping my 07 for sure, may even grab up an 09 if ford gets in bad enough shape to make big discounts. I just dont like the changes to the 2010
