Default Just when I thought it was over........

I run into another irritating problem. Im selling my 2nd exhaust setup to use the money for springs with the intentions of getting the BMR kit for $495. I just checked and they raised the price to $639. So now what I need to know is what kit would you guys suggest that has the lowest drop without the adj panhard bar and all that sh*t. Could I get eh FRPP kit and get by with just the springs? Thanks

Im looking at the ultralight/sports now.....I assume neither adj. panhard bar or camber bolts are necessary correct? I cant exactly remember the difference between the ultralights and sports.

sportline is a 2" drop i heard you need the adj panhard. I have the pro kit which is 1.5" and i got them new and installed for like $350. i did need camber bolts and an alignment after though, comes out close to $450-500

Sorry to hear that, man I hate it when that happens...especially by that much.

I don't understand do you want all the parts to the kit or just the springs?
You were looking at a kit but then you said you don't want all that sh*t .

Yeah I was looking at the kit because it was such a good deal for all the stuff that it came with, but since they raised the price I cant do it. If I could get a lower dropping spring with all the components for a good price then I would go that route, but I just dont want to buy springs and then have to buy all the other stuff seperately because it will get to be more then I want to spend. Thats why Im now considering the Steedas because I wont have to buy all the pieces individually and It wont cost over 600. I should have jumped on that kit when it was under 500

Here is a comparison between the package and the parts seperately.

BMR Lowering Package-639.00 (everything listed below)
*=Price individually

*Springs-249.95
*Adjustable Panhard Bar-139.95
*Control Arm Relocation Brackets-139.95
*Camber Bolts-39.95
*Upper Strut Mounts-? (I paid 109.90 for mine earlier this year)
You would save around $40 versus the BMR parts seperately.

Steeda G-Trac Package-589.95 (everything listed below)

*Sport Springs-229.95
*Strut Tower Brace-166.20
*G-Trac Brace-59.95
*Adjustable Panhard Bar-159.95
You would save around $26 versus the Steeda parts seperately.

IMO for $49 more the BMR Package provides more significant parts needed to lower the car over the Steeda Package. As far as springs, both companies make good springs so you would just need to decide on the drop amount you want. JMO but after you decide on drop amount the BMR Package would be more favorable because it comes with the relocation brackets that are recommended to adjust the LCA mounting location on the axle . Hope this helps.

I say buy the parts you need, skip the ones you don't, and don't get held down going with 1 manufacturer. I wouldn't go with a package.
