lowering springs with B2 chin spoiler??????
I have a question for anyone and everyone out there. I have a 05 Mustang GT that I put a Cervini's B2 Chin Spoiler on. Thats the spoiler that looks like the ones that were on the boss's back in "the day". I put it on for a test run and it drug from time to time on normal streets and drive ways. Before I put the spoiler on I was planning on putting on lowering springs because I dont like (the "red neck rake" that I have heard it called) where our cars are higher in the back than the front. I'm not sure if this is causing the dragging but I would like to lower the back and not the front. I think that would make it more in line and possibly not drag. Do they make just rear springs..if so who...and what would all of you recommend? I am open for suggestions. I'm scared if I lower the whole car it will tear up the spoiler and I really like the looks with it on. Thanks for any and all help. Jeff

lol, i've been considering the same thing you have (i have one of the gt500 chin spoilers, though). roush makes rear lowering springs that lower the rear about 1-1.25 inches or so and they run around $125 (http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=322). from what i have gathered, you will most likely not need any other parts to help with alignment issues like you usually do when you lower the entire car. the only thing, you will most likely have to change the rear shocks sooner than normal after lowering it
