+1, my Pypes O/R x-pipe kit gave me the option of running with or with out cats (which it came with) so you could see which way you liked it or not. To me it sounds alot better with the cats in which cut the sound level down a bit and cut the rasp out of it. I'm running mine with Borla stingers and could not be happyer how it sounds. Pretty much like this sound clip but mine is a bit deeper and cleaner sounding

with the cats, it's a little bit more refined.

I have the Bassani high flow catted X with JBA axle backs and I absolutely love the sound and get compliments from tons of people from little kids to older men. I also have a pair of JBA axle backs that are unused if you were interested in picking some up for cheap

I assume the JBA's drone?

After my Bassani longtube install w/ Bassani catted-X, I might start experimenting again with mufflers. I've been through Stingers (drone) and have GTA's now. I'd like to do better than the GTA's. But I need to see how they sound with headers before I try something different.

Gosh, i'm sure liking the youtubes of Zoomers. Just not the ~$700 price tag. The sound similar to Stingers and I understand they don't drone.
