Unhappy Hurt the stang for the first time yesterday....

Well yesterday after washing/waxing I went for a little drive around my area and like an idiot I went to make a U turn and a pretty wide street I thought I had it i kept going at a pretty slow speed and then I heard this grind for like 2-3 seconds and I was like sh*t..... so i pulled over and I am like thank god cause I dont see some huge scrape but then i bent down and there is like a huge chunk of paint gone from under the front bumper and a very small scratch visible when walking in front of it.... and then to top it off when I backed into the driveway all annoyed I hit this damn table and put about a 1 inch scrape downward in the middle of my back bumper anyway it sucks but you can only see them if you really look for them THANK GOD but I was wondering if anyone else has had a crappy day like this? Misery loves company haha. Also any idea how much it would cost to have these fixed? Thanks.

I'm assuming the curb, don't know what else would do it.

Dude.. SORRY to hear that!

Misery loves company, so how's this one? About a month after buying my 'Stang I woke up after spending the night @ a girlfriend's house & when I walked out to the driveway I find my front bumper has the impression of her SUV's trailer hitch permanently gouged into it... she had gotten a call from a friend who needed a ride @3AM & "didn't see" my black car parked behind her SUV!!!

Here's the "happy ending" - it forced me to discover the great deals you can get on "takeoff" parts & ushered me into the wonderful world of Mustang MODS! I guess you call that serendipity because IMO my car looks SO much cooler with the GT bumper/grille/fogs!

I feel for you. A week ago in the V6, my daughter rode up on a curb with a sharp corner and punctured the sidewall and gouged the edge of the rim. I've been meaning to post pictures, but haven't had time yet....

Scratched mine a few times cleaning it. With frickin MF towels if you can believe it. I think something got stuck in the fibers and I put to much pressure down on it when I dried the car off. Sucks it's a black car. w00t
