let me save you a LOT of time and heartache.....i just got through this same situation and i tried the tps and it did not work....you can call doug and he will explain to you how it isn't the tune because he will ask you to load a canned tune.....after all that fails, load your stock tune and put on the stock airbox and go to the dealership and get a THROTTLE BODY!!!! clean all that you want, but my 08GT has 4k miles and the TB was almost mint condition;however, my car did not through a code.....the dealership grabbed an 09GT off the lot and switched TB's with me and everything is perfect!!!!! i wrote about this very recently......check my links

yeah, i read your thread.....AFTER i bought the tps!!

i installed it, cleaned my TB to a near-sanitized state, and everything is perfect for now. i hope my case was the TPS, but i'll be keeping an eye on it.....

UPDATE!!!

one week later after installing the new tps....everything's fine. looks like i got lucky and won't have to replace the TB. i'll post up if anything changes
