Do I get that right that you're running 45 height all around? Did you lower the car or did you keep it at factory height?
I'm looking to buying 18" wheels, but the rear height of 40 keeps me concerned whether there won't be too much empty space in the wheelwell after I put them in. I was probably thinking of getting 295/40 to raise the sidewall a bit..Now I'm more that seriously concerned whether I was thinking correctly or I was missing smth..

A 285/40/18 is going to have almost the same overall diameter as the stock 27.2" height. You'd have a hard time telling the difference of 2 tenths of an inch.

I started looking for rims after seeing this thread and came across some cool asanti rims which are fully customizable (color/finish).
I thought they were great till i saw that price tag of over 1k EACH

I've got GT500 SVT take-offs. They are a bit heavy, but cheap and easy to come by. You can find rims/tires/TPMS all day for under $1,000. 18x9.5 rims with staggered tires front to rear, check out my sig pic if you need a picture.
