Good news for me. Thanks for doing the legwork. I've been running Mobil 1 in every vehicle I've ever owned and have always been satisfied. I even run Mobil 1 in my Prius, lol.
Great to know and thanks for getting the tests done and should quite some of the nay sayers about tried and true Mobil 1 and I have been using since the first change!
Hey Argonaut, please excuse me for going off topic, but I noticed that you changed from 4:10 gears to 3:73's? How do you like the 3:73's as compared to the 4:10's and why the change?
I would also like to hear from someone who has gone from 4:10 to 3:73. Please chime in. The reason I ask is with 4:10's, first gear is pretty much useless on the street. I'm beginning to wonder if 3:73's are a better street gear.

Be careful. I hear there's a lot of 3:73 on the street and it's pretty powerful. It's a gateway gear though. Soon you're doing 4:10, 4:30 whatever you can get your hands on.

I changed from 4:10 to 3:73 specifically for road racing. The 4:10s are simply too short on a race track, I was consistently running out of gear before I ran out of straight away. For street only driving...its a toss up. I loved the way 4:10s hit so hard but 1st gear was so short it was kind of a pain. IMO, for a toy street car 4:10s are the way to go. For a DD I'd personally rather have the 3:73s.
