Default Sirius radio

Has anyone added the Sirius radio connection from Ford to the Shaker 500?
I found the components that are in the trunk that connect to the head unit, but I don't know if I need anything else or if it will work.

Sorry, can't help. My Shaker 500 was already connected to Sirius with a free 6 month trial subscription when I bought my Stang in '07. Never thought you had to connect anything other than to subscribe to get it activated.

Mine didn't come with it.
I'm trying to add it.
I have an external Sirius radio now.
I just want to clean up the dash.

I'm buying it today from someone who removed it from their car.
I also found the one from Sirius that you can connect to your stock radio.
Clarion makes the head unit so if you get this http://www.tss-radio.com/clarion-sir...ge-p-5545.html I think it will work.

I bought a factory Visteon kit from http://www.oem-auto-accessory.com and installed it myself. It's the same as the factory unit (works with the Aux button) except the antenna is magnetic, which I installed on the panel between the trunk lid and convertible top. For the coupe, the magnetic antenna probably wouldn't work as well.

How did you connect the sat box to the head unit?

An H harness is provided with the kit. You unplug the existing connectors from the dash unit, insert 2 of the H harness connectors in their place, than plug the existing connectors into the remaining 2 connectors on the H harness. Then you have to run the new harness back to the sat box.

OK, I got the unit, but it didn't have the harness.
My car doesn't have the harness prewired.
I called the dealership. They sent me to their radio dealer.
They have the wiring harness for $68.
I'm going to intaller the Sirius tuner near the Shaker 500.
So it is costing me $78 for the setup.
