Default Daily driver show cars chime in!!!

Well, i decided to post this because it seems that a lot of these tricked out stangs are all garaged...it seems like the s197 daily driver show car is a scarce title and i want to see exactly how many we have....i will start with mine....

its an '05 mustang gt bought with 5k miles on it in june of '06...this is my only vehicle so since then, driving back and forth to shows, meets, work, and everywhere else i need to go, i have ran the odo all the way up to 43k miles....

along the way, i have made some quality improvements and made the beast quite appealing...since i am not married nor do i have kids, it seems as if this car has become THE pride and joy for me right now....

After college this baby will get the treatment she truly deserves, but for now shes gonna get beat on everyday haha, what can I say, it's just to much fun

It's hard to keep them top notch and DDrive them.
The engine bay gets crummy real quick when you get caught in the rain.
The driver seat will show obvious wear compared to the other side etc...

More power to you guys...

Mine is also a DD, its the only car I have currently so it goes everywhere. No one beleaves me when I tell them its a DD since you can pretty much eat off anywhere in or on the car to include the engine bay. Ya, its a lot of work keeping her that clean all the time but its a labor of love...... I'll up date this post today when I get home with pic's since I just took some interior shots I want to post. Also forgot to add in that this car is not garage kept, I live in an apartment so its outside 24/7

I think the Mustang makes a good daily driver. In the scheme of things, it's really not an expensive car. My garage queen Z06 costs three times what my Mustang cost me. Here's the best part though, I get to drive my GT everyday instead of only weekends with the garage queen.

I agree with Pascal. If you can keep them looking good through all the elements then great job! I myself however used to drive a couple of my past stangs year round and as hard as I tried I think everytime I would wash the car I would notice something else (ding, chip, scratch, etc.) It used to drive me nuts! My stang's now all sit in the garage unless it is a nice sunny day.

I drive mine every day. I bought it last January and just turned 21,000 miles on it.
