Default Math/suspension guru's......my last ?

Okay Im sure most of you have seen my post about the spring dilemma Im going through, I have one more question. I did some calculations using 2ndary data found on the web and with my 93 Taur-*** (stangs stored) to see how low I can go with my driveway. Ok please try to follow me here.......

Here are the measurements

Mustang-stock- ground-bottom front bumper=8.25"
Ground-bottom rocker panel=6"
Steeda ultralites- Ground-bottom front bumper=7.25"
Ground-bottom rocker panel=4.875"
FRPP's- Ground-bottom front bumper=6.75"
Ground-bottom rocker panel=4.5"
1993 Taur-***- Ground-bottom front bumper brush gaurd thing=7.25 (same as Steedas)
Ground-bottom rocker panel=6.75"

Heres where it gets interesting, my driveway. The Taurass scrapes the front brush gaurd very slightly while backing out, only in the winter however when the tire pressure goes down, in the summer its fine. So Im not too concerned with the front clearance, its the rockers that worry me. The clearance from the lowest point on the taurass is 3.25", the lowered stang would be 1.375". Is this enough margin do you guys think? Here are some pics of the side of the Taurass....keep in mind its 6.75" ground-rockers on the taurass, while the steeda lowered stang would be 4.875".

Can you compare the 2 cars? R these measurements where the car sits lowest in the driveway? Not really following the logic...I mean I understand what your writing but a taurus and stang are 2 different cars all together....

Put a 2x4 in the gutter of your driveway.

You can't compare the two cars. They have different front & rear overhang measurements.

+1...No matter what, after you lower the car looking at your driveway you are going to have to start driving in/out at an angle to help with clearance issues.

damn......I wish there was another stang owner around where I live that could come over and try it out.......or I wish there was a Ford dealer closer so I could test drive a Shelby GT and see if it will work.......regardless I think I will need to go with the Steedas, the FRPPs will be too low for my driveway. Also look at these pics, do you guys think I could pour some quick crete somewhere on here to lessen the angle?

Also do you think the stiffness of the suspension between the Mustang and Tuarass would make a difference in how it would go over the bumps?

I can't see your pics for some reason but...

Yes, the Mustang has a stiffer suspension because of the cars purpose, so naturally the suspension would be a little less forgiving going over bumps.

Have you considered curb ramps?
