Big racing number on the side
I was watching "Chasing classic cars" last night on HD theater (love that show), and the host was driving an old school ('68?) Shelby GT350 with a large racing number on the side.
I always liked the look, wondered what the opinions here were and if anyone else has done it. Here is a cut and paste on mine, and the way it has been done on the PJ edition Mustang. I eventually plan to do staggered 18's with black centers and brushed lip, I think this would better complete the look.
Opinions?

I think it is ok provided the car is being used on the track and it is the number that you have been given or will use or if it was a former track car. This could just be me but I would feel really strange if someone asked and I didnt have a good answer other than I think it looks cool.
By the way it looks good on your car I would just throw some SCCA or NASA stickers on there and then run it in an auto X.
