Why don't my headlights and tailights turn on when I unlock the car?
I've noticed that some 06 mustangs have their headlights and taillights turn on when you unlock the car. Mine and lots of other people's don't do that, does anyone know the cause of this behavior?
I'm going to some pretty HUGE lengths to figure it out actually and so I'm posting this up to help out.
so far i've found... nothing.
It's not an 05 only feature or anything though, 07's do this too.

If I recall, the Owners Manual for my '07 had a section explaining how to configure your lights at entry. I'm at work but if I get a chance I'll check my e-copy of the manual.

The interior lamps illuminate when the remote entry system is used to

The dome lamp control must not be set to the off position for the
illuminated entry system to operate.
The inside lights will not turn off if:

I just looked at the manual since the graphics didn't transfer when I did the cut and paste.
The control they're referring to is the unlock button on the key fob, I believe. If not, then it's the unlock button on the door. Check your Owners Manual. I'm at work and it's not very conducive to studying it.
