I'm running C&L Racer w/Bama 93 perf tune,
all his tunes are great especially if auto trans tunes.

I have noticed that, on this Forum, Bama and VMP are the main deal.

I have the c&l racer on my car. The unit is very nice. The box for it is nice but nothing to write home about. I have the bama tune set 93per/93torque/87perf and a diablosport predator witch comes with 3 of its own tunes. I have only run the 93 performance. I can tell you the car runs allot better with it.

I hear bama (Doug) does very nice auto tunes and everyone who has an auto swears by bama. I have a manual and I still think his tunes are great. Woke up my beast.

I have put about 8k miles with the 93perf tune. The car responds faster and gets better fuel economy. I will switch to the 93torque tune in the spring. The 87tune is for emergencies & road trips.

yes i noticed that to. he had the street filter with the racer tube. dont know if i like that. imo if you get a dyno tune later will that screw with the m.a.f. or something else.

+1 on liking the racer over the street. 95mm all the way. and as others have posted if you have an auto go with doug. im bout to order 3 tunes for christmas or when i decide to update my tuner to my new computer code and reinstall my c&l racer intake.
make sure you get the 93 race tune if you do get tunes from doug.

i am not sure everyone is on the same page.....doug, who i personally know, has a fabricated set-up that he sells on his site.....it is a combination of the street and race c&l cai......the street part flows 85 and the inlet pipe(race) flows 95, so you get the best of both worlds.....you would have to order both cai from c&l to make this cai.....about the cost, the cost is 315, which is cheaper in price due to not having the aluminum part of the street version. it utilizes the plastci race inlet instead.......

just put on the street/racer combo and love it!!!!!!!!!!
much better build quality than jlt and a noticeably stronger power band
