Default put in a rear dome light. **write-up on page 2!**

well, in search of a rear light for the interior of some sort, i hit the "rice burner" aisle at pep boys hard the other day. i found a 5" (thats inch, not foot) tape light kind of thing. its actually a white l.e.d. strip, but it looks blue next to the amber colored bulbs in the front. now i need the white l.e.d. front lamps! i connected it to the wires for the front dome lamps so it would "fade" in and out when locking and unlocking like the fronts do.

let me know what you think. all feedback is welcome.

Looks good since you use the back seat.. I dont use mine so I have no need and my camera has a light on it so I use that once in a while...

it does help when im trying to find the seat belt buckle to buckle the kid in at night. and it also is nice to be able to see the rear floor boards if something falls down there.

here are a few pics of the placement of it. its close enough to the headliner so you cant see it unless you get underneath it. i used "mechanics wire" and ran the wire strait under the headliner to the front dome light. and you cant see it from the outside because its on the "blacked out" part of the rear glass.

i used mechanics wire. its basically stiff solid metal wire (stronger than regular wire but softer than a coat hanger) on a spool. its available at any auto parts store.

i will do a write up with pics as soon as i get a chance.
