I pieced it together all seperately.

Rotors were $240 at Rotorpros.
Calipers I got on ebay for $400 brand new
Pads were around $150
clip to hold them in were $80
brakelines were $142
rotor backing plate $60
bolts to hold the caliper onto the plate $6
brake fluid was $3 haha

and I think thats it...

so around $1,081 (if my math is right). A little cheaper than the preassembled kit and I got the drilled/slotted rotors that were not available in Ford's kit.

When you turn the key to ON (but not start) what does the battery gauge do?

This past weekend I had to put a new battery in. Mine went dead on me a week ago and the little window on the top of the battery was showing red. When it was dead, the battery gauge didn't move when I turned the key to ON. When I tried to start the lights went dim and I heard the starter making a grinding sound. The fuel pump also sounded weak too when it would pressurize up.

Do you have a tuner? If so maybe you just need to reload your tune?

Fixed the problem! It was the battery!

*feels like a complete moron*

Anyways, so I don't start a new thread, I felt a bit uneasy about installing my aluminum driveshaft, so how much would it cost me to get it done? I'm sure it wouldn't take more than 30 minutes to install but IDK for sure. I'm sure my local mechanic should be able to do it or should I take it to the Mustang specialty shop, Mustang Magic, on Long Island? I don't want to get ripped off hah....

Which I'm sure paying anything to install it is getting ripped off! haa

Yeah I really think that if they have the lift its only liek 8 bolts or so? I mean its a pretty easy job. I watched a shop do it on my buddys 03 GT in like 15 mins.
