Mine were redone as one came loose. it was a super hot day, the glue went soft?? I do find the interior car noise seems louder with them. Now Im driving in horrid winter conditions, we will see how they hold up.

On that note I wish I never would of bought them, they do look great, but it has a pain having them installed properly.

Did you do them yourself?
If so, what adhesive did you use? That might be the cause of the noise coming into your car; the adhesive might not have set all the way around and sounds form outside are coming in.
Also, in line with that, have you had any problems with water entering through the louvers?

If they had been installed by a company that installs glass, there shouldn't have been a problem and if so, they should back their work. Installation procedures are almost the same as installing a glass window. Think about it, how many people have you heard that their ¼ glass is coming loose?

I hear no more noise with my louvers than I did with the glass.

I had Ford use their glass guy to do mine. He had done many before.

So you opted for the 'recessed' mounting option for
the SHR flush mount louvers. Thems pushed
down too far below the vehicles surface for me...

It was done at a glass shop with the adhesive and primer I ordered with the louvers the first time when it came off, they took them both out and used there own adhesive and seems to hold good for now. No leaks.

I just had a poor install and a bad expierence with the whole thing, the first install there was a huge glue glob pressing from too much glue, and the shop thought it looked fine that way. Also when I had them done a 2nd time, I had them duct taped on them from the outside, I told them 10 times to leave the glue resadue from the tape and I would clean it off myself, ofcouse they rubbed the hell out it and dam near rubbed the paint off the car and louver, lets say I was not impressed

looked around a bit on several forums and only found 2 people...of the hundreds/thousands that have these

pretty damn good odds. seems the secret is the age of the sealant and proper use of the adhesive promoter.

Dang, I was hoping to order these pre-painted and then doing the instal myself. What would have cost like $500 is now going to cost me $650-$700 for the shop to paint, match, and install.
I still plan on doing the install myself as the interior pieces on the 2010 need trimming. Plus I'm **** about how things are done. Must be perfect. Anyone (Pascal?) have any idea what I should expect to be charged to prep and paint the louvers w/o an install? I'm on LI in NY and am expecting about $150.

amazing job! I would've screwed it up somewhere.. I have a pair of stick on louvers and they started to detach last week after only 3 months of use. If they fall off, I will be getting a pair of these bad boys! they look so sexy.

Ahhh, did you use the 3M 4298 Adhesion Promoter
when you installed these louvers?
