Sure it matters how much power you are drawing, the fewer the better IMO.Pure white is argued whether it be 4300 or 5000K and depends a little on the brand as well. I have a difficult time telling the difference between the actual light output between 4300 and 5000 but I see that 4300 has just a slight yellow to it. This is why I choose 5000K. 6000K is starting to get blue in the light and at 8000K you get into your purples, just not my thing personally. You are correct that 4300K puts out the most lumens. If you are 6000K guy, all the power to you, I think 6000K is ok myself.

Sure you can, I think they are D2S, but they could be D2R so make sure you get the right ones!

6000k DDM Slim Line. Bixenon for the headlights, and the regular for the fog lights.

don't get any HIDs in the stock housing. Simply put, it IS NOT meant for HID bulbs... If you want HIDs, get the new factory housing assembly from Ford, yes, it is more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Ballasts will go bad, beam cutoff will be too high and wide, drivers will be blinded. Just don't.

This is not true. Please stop with the bashing of HID threads with this nonsense. These HID kits are made to work in stock housings, as long as you have the cover over the front of the bulbs/coating and you properly adjust them they work 100% perfectly. Not to mention Ballasts do not go bad because of a stock housing  Some people....

I never said the stock housing would make ballasts go bad. But I had 4 go bad on me...

These reflector housings are not meant for HIDs, period.
