Bullitt Mustang?

The bullitt is boring, buy a Saleen.

The price you see is what you pay^, there's no minimum on this one.
I buy and resell 2 cars every month even in this economy and I don't see ones that are that nice or with that low a price but every 6 months. That one is also making 500 hp due to the Whipple, and that makes it faster than a gt500 KR. It seems to be under Saleen warranty still too judging from the year.

I love the bullitt and wish I had waited to buy one. But there is no way I would part with my 07.
My dream bullit would have the new C&L intake manifold, C&L Heads, FRPP Hot Rod cams, and LT's cut into the stock exhaust. Then I would just have the rear wheels widened 1" and be done. That would be a sick combo.
But since I already own a stang that is Satin Silver I think the Saleen's look the best in that color so that is what I am building eventually. But I want to get a 2.5" Cowl hood instead of the saleen hood.

My car broker got back with me and quoted $30,250 for a 2009. A friend who is a parts manager at a local south Florida Ford store got his "employee" price to see what he could get and it was $30,270 on a 2008. We both thought these prices are insane. My friend came across the 2008 because they were installing a new battery because the car has been sitting on the lot since March. The broker also only wanted to give me $14,000 for my car. If I can get the bullitt for $27,500 and get about $17,000 for my Redfire 2006 auto Mustang GT premium (only 5,500 miles) I would do it. Does anyone think this is asking to much?

They are way out of line with their price. Hell, I paid less than 30,250 back in July, with no rebates or employee pricing....All options except the Shaker 1000...And with Nav.....They are preparing to bend you over...on both.....
Most I have seen lately over on IMBOC are going around 26 or 27.....

A local dealer today gave a price of $27,900 for a green 2008. Very tempting but I offered $27,500 and they would not accept. I am going to keep waiting and see if they will go lower. I really think that I was to generous with that price and it really should be more like $26,800 from other posts I have read.

unfortunately the dealers just don't want to deal on the special Mustangs. Plus you need to see what the original invoice was, as some dealers have loaded Bullitts (with Shaker 1000's).
But if they won't come down an extra $400 they are probably selling crack to make money, so go to another dealer who wants your money.
I agree with all of what Mike said about the differences. I took a test drive and it was so fun! Part of it was the manual transmission and the 3.73's, but it also felt much tighter and controllable. I'm not too crazy about the subtle looks and I would not want to add anything other than a few exterior mods in order to make it more like McQueens '68.
But yes, I have done so much to my GT to get it the way I want that I just am not ready to part with it!
Heck, just getting together all my documentation for a sale will take all day! Not to mention how long it'll take to remove the mods!
But if my car got wrecked tomorrow I would highly consider a new Bullitt.
