Well, I found out how. Just put down slowly. The entire thing is just held in-place by 2 interior spring clips. I'm going to fab my own Radar Detector mount, so my radar sits right in front of the housing. I just hope the sunscreened pony in the windshield, dosen't block the radar's range?

Dave...
Are you going to hard wire the radar detector in? What are you going to use to make the mount? Post some pics when you get it done. I would love to see it.
Yes, I plan to hard-wire the radar. Material, not sure yet? I will post pic's when I'm done. I hope to work on this, this weekend!
Dave...

Be careful not to jack up your interior motion sensors!

Hawgman, where are the motion sensors???? are those the two eye looking things above the mirror????? If so what exactly are they for????

If it is the same "sensor looking things" i am thinking of, then the sales guy at the dealership told me those were for the sound system (shaker 1000) so it would pick up the noise and turn up or down the volume when stopping or going.

Infact can you please post a picture....

Cheers

Brian

Turn your alarm on and wave your hand under "those the two eye looking things above the mirror"... then give your dealer a dollar to buy a clue.

Ahh there's gotta be a way. I think I know a pretty good customs shop here in OKC that can figure it out. It's no West Coast Customs [sm=pimp.gif], but they should be able to install it so it looks clean and out of the way.

Should have my X50 installed by late July.

I will post pics when the time comes.
