Ok, my Pony spinners (knockoffs) just arrived! I got them on Ebay from a guy who sounded real and he delivered! He has another set up right now>>

I got mine with shipping for just $90. Not bad considering the local dealer wanted $120 for the "Ford" spinners.

The question is how do I get the stock caps off my Bullitt rims?
The salesman had said that "they just pull off" but I don't have steel claws!
I'm planning on etching my spinners because I have a feeling they'll be easy to pull off...

Can you go between the center cap and the wheel with like maybe a jewelers screw driver and pry it up a little bit to get ahold of it? If not, you might be faced with taking the wheels off and knocking it out from the back side ( and that would suck ).

well I KNOW they pull off, 2 Stangs! LOL!
I will try the screw driver and maybe see if I have a small crowbar tool...
if I get them on expect photos soon!

I know the thought of sticking something metal in between the cap and the wheel will make you cringe. I completely understand. But that is how I got mine off without taking off the wheels. Used the smallest jewelers screw driver that I had, and just gingerly pried it up enough to get the edge with my fingers.

well, I couldn't find a small enough screwdriver. Tried to use a putty knife but it flexed too much. I ended up just wrapping a cloth around a hammer and prying them straight off. The new knockoffs fit on nicely, so be sure to get your bids in on the listing above.
Not sure if I totally enjoy the way it looks... why is that? Think I now need polished or chrome rims?

I think the spinners look very good on the bullit wheels. Good choice! I also like the Mustang stripe on the GT. Nice car!

WTF is up with they guys and their typing everything WITH THE CAP LOCK KEY ON?

I think I just instilled a personal policy - I will NOT buy from anyone do damn lazy to type in proper case!

Other then that..... He has a good price for those spinners.
