My engine that is :( Seems like a few of my rods decided they didnt like being in the block anymore. I was on the interstate tonight to check out a few things. I do a pull in 3rd and it felt like it didnt have any power, look in the rear veiw and see nothing but smoke. Thought maybe it was a piston because i still had oil pressure and didnt hear any knocking. Get off the interstate and pull over, then i feel a little vibration as i come to a stop. Get out and look under it and theres a big puddle of oil. Then a flash light reveals a big chunk of the block broke off but still held on from the oil pan. I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. Sucks that it went right before christmas. Well it managed to run for almost a year at 500hp, and made quite a few passes(one being a 10.91@128) I guess i will be making a build thread here soon. Probably will pull the motor out monday and post up some pics.

Sounds like its time for forged internals/lower compression/higher boost.

that sucks. Ill be pushing 450rwhp soon. i think thats close to the limit for the stock block seeing you were at 484. But good luck with the build and post some pics.

Well on the bright side the car gets forged at the very least:D and man enough to tell all about it. You knew the price with that HP level and you accept that !:D. Pics and parts please of the build......so once your forged what boost would you like to run? R U going to up the boost? What boost level were you at to get those numbers? thanks .........its bitter sweet.
