I just found that the thread options are (12mmx1.25 and 3/8-16). Can someone explain the need for thread options?

differant brand shifters use differant thread patters for their shift *****.

I just called mgw and the race composite shift **** is for the stock thread pattern

mgw uses a differant thread patter than oem. if you go to www.grabberpony.com and look at their shift ***** it breaks it down for you.

yes sir. bout to call and order in a minute. going to make sure though that it does work with the stock thread pattern. i think it comes with an adaptor to make it fit the stock pattern. but as long as it works. website says the adaptor is so you pull the leather boot back over and it holds in place. should work just fine.
