Talking winter chains for my mustang

So with this sudden snow storm that will not let up here in Seattle I'm thinking about purchasing some chains to make sure I don't lose control on the road and to be EXTRA SAFE because I've seen too many cars crash and have had way too many cars almost hit me!

I'm originally from Minnesota so I know what real snow is not this stupid 4 inch crap!!!

But any suggestions on chains??? I want to go super cheap {price wise} because it never snows here in Seattle and it's going to be sitting more in storage then being used!

Merry Christmas ya'll and keep the Stangs safe over the holiday season!!!

Do you have a sixxer or a GT. You are not suppose to use chains on the GT wheels/tires

By a beater would be the smartest move you can make

I would never use chains on a Mustang. Just get some good winter tires.
I leave mine on from Nov to April.

chains won't help if somebody rearends you or goes sideways in the next lane... some supercheap pos beater car/truck is the way to go imho (that is if there are no other alternatives like riding a bus on those bad snow days))

You might get more help with a thread title that actually makes sense.

(edit: original thread title was something about the devil)

check the manual. I also kinda remember seeing or hearing about how you're not supposed to use chains on the GT...
