You are going to spend a ton stripping those wheels and getting them painted professionally. This ain't a DIY.
To do it right, find a chromer and have them dechromed. It will run you less than $100 a wheel...then go at it. If you dont get that chrome off, ANYTHING you put on it will ocme right off and look like ****.

if and when I get a super charger or turbo then I'll worry about changing my rims out for some lighter ones. Until then who cares the car isn't fast enough to keep up with the Porsche turbos that we see everyday in la. So it's pointless, why not have fun and enjoy the rims and the look for now.

Devi, the car looks bada$$ the way it is. You dont want to be dra racing in our neck of the woods anyway, with LAPD, Beverly Hills PD and UCLA PD surrounding us. I get dirty looks from them sitting at a stop light. They are just waiting for an excuse. Enjoy your rims, keep the when u get boosted as the difference will be in the 10ths and unless u r on the tracks it wont be such a big deal. But do get boosted as there is nothing more fun than seeing the faces of guys who get spanked like the ones I spanked in the E63 AMG esterday

why does everyone keep asking how im gonna get the paint to stay on the chrome? lol i'm sending them out to be painted, which includes them being stripped of the chrome. i do understand you cant paint the chrome. i dont mean to offend anyone with that comment but its kind of offending me to think i didnt already know that.
