As far as the air temp....Here is my take....

Personally, and in my opinion......
I am not so worried about the temp of the air at the point of intake, as opposed to the temp of the air AFTER THE SUPERCHARGER! That said, and maybe I missed it, but in looking at the factory install instructions from Vortech, I did not see anything in there pertaining to re-locating the Air Intake Temp sensor. Again, maybe I missed it....
But, the complete kit from Brenspeed does in fact include the kit to re-locate the AIT sensor to one of the runners on the intake manifold, which of course is AFTER the blower. And in speaking with Seth at Brenspeed, this is what is going to adjust your tune every time you drive, based upon the temp of the air, and will pull timing, etc. based upon said temp...thereby running a safe tune for the specific air temps.....

Mike
Exactly.....very safe and further helps prevent detonation and pinging!

hey question for those with the non ho kit installed (mudflap)....did the non kit come with the 8 rib pulley set? or does it use the stock 6 rib? The only reason I ask is because i will be doing the install myself and i have a fear of removing the crank pulley (long story lol)....just want to know what im in for

the better shops will always relocate the IAT sensor to after the blower/aftercooler for better tuning
