Default Worst snow storm in 30 years, Mustang on chains

We are having our worst snow storm in 30 years here in the Portland OR area which gets very little snow and this is what I"m driving:

The pile of snow to the left is a 550hp 454 powered 74 Camaro - Not too great a snow car.

The other pile of snow is my 99 4x4 Suburban with a new 400+hp 383 stroker motor that needs a little tweeking before being on the road. My car accident (thanks to a 16 year old driver) has put me on lite duty for a while so car car work for me.

you think that's bad.. imagine me trying to drive a 93 mazda rx-7 in about 13-14 inches of snow in my younger years lol. We have a big storm every year that gives out at least 16-18 inches of snow every year... sucks.

)-:

I have snow tires on my GT right now, hauls ***** in the snow and ice! do it!

We got dumped on here in western NY like crazy too. For 3-4 days we seemed to average 10 inches of snow. At that rate it hard to find a place to put it after shoveling your drive 2 times a day. The mustang on the other hand did great. With a little weight is the back end the rear is very predictable and I have been finding myself throwing it sideways around corners just b/c I knew how it would react.

You are not suppose to use chains on those wheels....it is dangerous and can cause damage.
