No Cats smell and louder cruising sound...
Hey all got another question for ya haha after reading a post about a better explanation on the laws about cats or no cats in Cali and how its a fix it iff its a aftermarket and only bad if you mess with the stock ones that's when you get in some deep fines and stuff but another thing that I am worried about is the smell how often does it get into the car? Because I hate it and if it does it to much I probably will have to take it off...so just looking for an answer on all that everything seems to pint to a catted h though and mrt has the only one I know of that works with the stock headers at least.... I love my stingers but I want to keep there sound going a bit longer... I just want them a bit louder when cruising basically... Anyway thanks all wrote this on a crackberry and I have fat fingers so bear with me on the spelling and grammar haha

Periods are your friend, and what I am getting after reading this confusing post is that you want to know if it will smell with no cats? The answer is yes. Maybe get an o/r H and some high flow cats to make it a bit louder.

and sometimes you will encounter more smell and sometimes not. I noticed more with my pypes o/r h pipe than stock. However, once i put my LTs and o/r h pipe it was more like stock.
yes an o/r pipe will be much louder than just the new stingers to answer your second question

I have these cats on my car http://www.lastcallracing.com/mpe-59956.html
I had them welded into my O/R prochamber, so now it's technically not an O/R prochamber anymore. They eliminated the smell and retained the sound. In fact it sounds a little better now. It reduced the trumpeting by more than 1/2. Volume is the same.
