Default Bulbs

I assume you are talking about Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. They are the best (I think) of standard halogen bulbs. However, they do not compare with HID lamps. If you ever drive with HID you'll never want to go back to halogens. I think the best HID conversion kit is from Retro-Solutions.com.
Silverstars are an upgrade over OE bulbs. They are a simple swap. HID is a bit more involved to install.

HID conversations usually entail 2 people talking about High Intensity Discharge lighting. HID CONVERSIONS usually require a whole new lighting setup. Retro Solutions is the way to go. Sylvania bulBs are a waste of money IMO.

Default HID

I have the 6000K, 35W BiXenon (high & low) kit from Retro-Solutions and I love them. Have had them installed for a year now with zero problems.

I also have the Retro Solutions kit in 5000...could not be happier. They are as close to OEM HID as you are ever going to get. My wife's car has OEM HID and I can tell no difference at all.

Best money I have put into my car for sure. Nighttime driveability is GREATLY enhanced. There is NO comparison. I am not talking about 10% better light...but like 4x the light. It looks like daytime in front of you.
