tune = a change in the computer programming that the car comes with from the factory, it can be tweaked by a "pro tuner" to increase the power out put for the car ~30-40hp on a GT500, a pulley swap and tune = +100hp on a GT500

I'll admit if I could have justified the money for a C6 Z06 to sit in the garage 6 days a week, I'd have bought one. I think its next on the list after the stang has a couple years of use...

even then your going to need basically D/R otherwise say bye bye and if the vette has some minor mods its going to be a drivers race.

I recently drove a modded C6 and a modded ZR1 and I have ridden in them both while been driven and I have been in 2 diff gt500's, one with mods and all I know is that you need to mod bad. The vettes suspension handles the power alot better anbd it still feels as if its pulling harder.

The guys on the vette forums are comparing racing the regular c6 vs the gt500 and thats a drivers race.....ZO6 could have a 16 yr old who just got his liscence driving it and walk the gt500.

Ill admit I plan on going to the darkside towards the end of the new yr. Keeping the stang as is now cause Ive come to the reality in order to compete with the above cars Its going to take another $15,000 and even then if they mod im **** out of luck.

I would have the money for a Covette, but first I dont like the rear of a Covette and when I see those who drives a Covette, I dont want to talk car with those people, it seems they all have the noses in the air all the time, also the Mustang sees so Brutal in the looks as if it could eat you, thats just so cool, I know from the begining it does not have any handling and a little to heavy, but you can always do something about that.

I do have Black GT 06 now, but now I want more power, so a Shelby it must be to a good price of cause, but thats maybe also possible in these times.
