Axle Backs...really a horse power boost??

The stock intake is capable of taking in more air. If its getting out faster the engine will adjust a little but thats why you need a tune to maximize the HP.

AB's add very little HP....LT's with aftermarket H/X pipe open up HP that the stockers restrict!

he is sayin that u will still see gains but you arent getting the max hp w/o upgrading the opposite flow...

Exactly. It's all the crimped bends and abrupt bends that really kill horsepower (I think back pressures the correct term?) so anything you can do to get a smoother flow will help your car perform more efficiently
